MRCS Part B OSCE and Viva Practice

Rehearse the MRCS Part B oral and clinical stations the way you will sit them: the examiner reads the scenario aloud, you answer out loud against the clock, and your answer is marked against model keywords.

Why practise MRCS Part B out loud

MRCS Part B is an OSCE. Knowing the facts is not enough: you have to organise an answer, say it clearly and finish inside the time. Reading notes silently does not train that. Speaking answers does.

What the PassMRCS Part B simulator gives you

How to use it well

  1. Learn a topic in Manual Mode first.
  2. Repeat the same station in Automatic Mode, aloud and timed.
  3. Review the missed keywords and rewrite your answer as a short structured list.
  4. Return to the station a week later and score again.

Frequently asked questions

How does the voice OSCE simulator work?

In Automatic Mode the examiner reads the clinical scenario and each question aloud. You answer by voice or by typing, then the station ends with matched and missed keywords highlighted against the model answer.

Is there a manual mode?

Yes. Manual Mode lets you move through the questions at your own pace, which is useful when you are learning a topic rather than rehearsing exam pressure.

Which topics do the stations cover?

Surgical anatomy, pathology, applied surgical science, critical care and clinical management scenarios, arranged in nested categories such as Anatomy, then Head and Neck.
